[sip-comm-dev] Changing Avatar/Display Pictures from SC

#1

Hi All,
First of all I would like to thank all the mentors for selecting me
for the project. I am Shashank Tyagi and will be completing my third year in
Computer Science at Institute of Technology,BHU-India.

For the project I have already told about what I expect to do and timeline
in my project and hope to achieve it in time. As my end semester exams are
going on till 7th of May I will not be able to work on SC before that. But
with summers free I will be able to stick to the timeline.

My mentor is Damien Roth although I have never had a chat with him niether
on IRC nor on mailing List. Now its time to get in touch.

Dont know what else to say or how to introduce myself. Right now I got to go
and complete my submissions and study for exams. Will be around after 7th.

Thank you once again for selecting me

Cheers!

Hi!

I've seen a lot of log messages from the H264 decoder when there's a decoding error (e.g. [h264 @ 0x1b0f8b10]Missing reference picture...).

How can I disable (hide) this error messages? Do I need to recompile ffmpeg.dll?

Thanks.

Regards, Pablo.

Hi Pablo,

Since the messages are printed by ffmpeg, one of the options is indeed
recompiling ffmpeg.dll.

However, we may want to rather use av_log_set_callback from the Java
code to set the ffmpeg log callback so that we can drive the messages
from ffmpeg into the Java code and then hook them with the Logger and
logging.properties we already use in other places and thus be able to
control the printing (e.g. during development/debugging).

Regards,
Lubo

Hi Lubo,

Thanks for your answer.

Is there any way to directly disable this messages logging?

Thanks.

Regards,

Pablo.
