[sip-comm-dev] Bug Report

#1

Hi,

I'm facing problems deactivating the 'incoming call' pop-up in
sip-communicator.
When a sip call is incoming the communicator presents a pop-up which
directly gains the systems focus.
So if i typing an email and hit return i often accept the incoming call
by accident.

I unchecked all pop-up related check boxes in the notifications settings
dialogue but this doesn't have an effect to the pop-up.
Also the Pop-up style type has no effect at all.

Im running:
Sip Communicator 1.0-alpha3-nightly.build.2642
on Ubuntu 9.10 (Gnome)
Using:
Java version "1.6.0_20"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_20-b02)
Java HotSpot(TM) Server VM (build 16.3-b01, mixed mode)

Please let me know if i should add an issue.

kind regards
Benjamin Jacob

So if i typing an email and hit return i often accept the incoming call by
accident.

I second that. It's a usability issue for me because I don't until
realize until later that I've gone into a call and I'm pretty much
always surprised afterwars.

Please let me know if i should add an issue.

I haven't searched for this one in the existing issues. Anyway, if we
don't have it as an issue, I'd vote for adding it.

Sure, go ahead. Should be an easy fix anyway.
