[sip-comm-dev] Audio/Video disabled in Jabber

#1

Dear Folks,

According to 2 links below, SIP Comm supports XMPP+Video.
I have 2 sipcomm clients and a server (ejabberd) but call button is disabled
on both clients.
I would like to video call between 2 clients. Is there any special
configuration or something I am missing.

Thanks you guys.

Jingle in SIP Communicator is currently under development and is
enabled by defining the system property enableJingle equal to true.
I'm continuing the work on enabling ICE support.

This is the description of a Google Summer of Code 2007 project idea
so it cannot be used as a statement that SIP Communicator supports
Jingle at present.

Hi Pujan,

If you want to test Jingle you can do it by adding the "enableJingle=true" property (if you use ant => ant run -DenableJingle=true). I don't know exactly what is the status of ICE integration in XMPP but _in LAN_ audio/video streams work well.

Dear Seb and Lubomir,

Thank you. Really helpful for me.
I might use it in IPv6 environment to avoid NAT problem.
But I will wait for ICE integration though. It 'd be potential application
and no any messenger client can compete with SC.

Cheers
Pujan
