[sip-comm-dev] alternative other than ReInvite

#1

Hi,

As my previous email, I am trying to implement mobility manager in SIP
communicator.
If the ReInvite capability has't implemented yet, is there any
alternative instead of using ReInvite?
Is it possible to use fresh Invite to the same user agent instead of
reInvite if there is a change in network type used?

Thank you

Wahyu

Hello Wahyu,

Sorry for the late reply. We implemented reinvites a while ago but it was only test code and it was quite Linux specific as it had to us libpcap and wireless tools to trigger the reinvite.

We could still reuse some parts (such as the reinvite handling part for example) and include them in the official release but this won't happen in the month that follows due to other priorities. Sorry

What I could do is release reINVITE code on separate pages and just expose it as an example. Would that suit you?

Cheers
Emil

Hi,

That would be wonderful if you can release the reInvite code. Thank
you and please provide the page address
