[sip-comm-dev] Adding a new notification

#1

Hello,

To avoid adding a new configuration panel, I wish to add a new
notification in the notification panel to manage the proactive
notification.

But I don't know how to add it. Can someone explain me how ?

Thanks

Damien

Sorry for the late answer. You may have find by now.

From what I understand, the notification list is populated with the
data collected by
net.java.sip.communicator.plugin.notificationconfiguration.NotificationConfigurationPanel.buildingVector().
As this data comes from the notification service, you just have to add
your new notification to the notification service and it should appear
in the notification panel.

Cheers,

You're right, like I said in the other mail, I hacked the
implementation of the service to add a notification.

It only works for my computer, now, I need to find a way to
automatically add it for the others or at the start of the program
like the 4 others notifications.

I read all the class of the service but I haven't found where they are
created during the first run of the app'. Does someone know where ?
