[sip-comm-dev] About Geek Communicator

#1

Hi folks,

I’m working in an application which uses SIPCommunicator features like
videocalls, messaging, presence.

Currently, I’need to manipulate the SIPCommunicator by means of a command
window and I remember the Geek Communicator Project presented in GSOC 2009.

I’m pretty interested in knowing about this project, and if it would be
possible to access to it. I’ve been searching on mailing list and I haven’t
found any link to access to the project. Has anybody any idea about this?

Thanks in advance and regards

Hi Lubo,

Thanks for answering. I'm trying to get project by means of tortoise SVN,
but I get the following errors:

Error MKACTIVITY of
Error '/svn/sip-communicator/!svn/act/91fd3d69-445b-1d4f-af34-01ace96b8aef':
Error authorization failed: Could not authenticate to server: rejected Basic
Error challenge (https://sip-communicator.dev.java.net)
Finished!

I've used both my user account in java.net and the user: guest recommended
in sipcommunicator svn project page

Do you know what is happening?

Thanks in advance and regards

Pedro

Hey Pedro,

The GC branch has exactly the same permissions as SC itself so this is
strange indeed. Can you retrieve SC itself?

All this reminds me that we should probably integrate the GC stuff at
one point. I'll start a roadmap discussion in the following month and
we'll try to decide on our priorities.

Cheers,
Emil

Hey Emil,

I've already got the project. It was a problem with the way I was using the tortoise (I was using the "import" option instead of "checkout" option)

Thanks for all

Pedro
