[sip-comm] Can't connect to a Nuance server running SIP (Problem solved)

#1

Problem solved!

It seems that JMF's default payload size on audio is 60ms. Nuance default
payload size is 20ms and drops packages which exceeds that.

Plus,

It seems that if sessionConnection in MediaManager.java doesn't
instantiate, e.g. the contact information (c= field) is included in
the media description instead of under the v o s fields, then
sessionRemoteAddress will not instantiate either which in turn triggers
a nullpointer exception. A simple else clause under
if (sessionConnection != null) solves that.

So, until next problem

Best regards,
Christian

That's good to know! I think it might be the cause of the problems that some are experiencing with asterisk. Could someone try that out?

Well actually that case is taken care of a bit farther in the same method. I think the only problem might arise while adding a null pointer in the addresses hashtable. I've fixed that, and acked ur contrib. Could u please give it a try?

Thank you for your effort.

So, until next problem

Thanks again and cheers!
