Simply cannot Install Jitsi Meet

I have been trying to install Jitsi Meet for the last hour. All I have on the page is a barebones HTML document with <div id="meet"></div> and the following JavaScript from the documentation:

<script src='https://meet.jit.si/external_api.js'></script>
<script>
var domain = "meet.jit.si";
var options = {
  roomName: "JitsiMeetAPIExample",
  width: 700,
  height: 700,
  parentNode: document.querySelector('#meet')
}
var api = new JitsiMeetExternalAPI(domain, options);
  </script>

So I don’t know why I’m getting so many errors and warning on my barebones website from following the instructions to a T. Can someone help me?

can you please post your jicofo & prosody logs?

/var/log/jitsi/jicofo.log

/var/log/prosody/prosody.log

& your ngix logs as well…

you can mask you domain names etc. if you want to

I don’t know what those are. How would I find that?

I do not have an nginx server.

Thank you for reading my post/caring

if you chose the quick install method. jitsi installs the nginx if it doesnt find one

BTW where are you installing the jitsi?

Hm. I’m looking it up right now but currently don’t know how to find that.

I’m using SurgeCDN. I also tried Netlify to no avail.

you need a full fledged linux box. i dont know what Surge OR Netlify offers

Ah.
