Sharing sound without sharing window and sound mixer

I think it would be very cool if it was possible to share the computer sound, without sharing any window. Then you can continue in the normal interface.

I also think it would be cool, while sharing sound, to be able to pop up a mixer between shared sound and your microphone, or maybe just a volume control for the shared sound.

This is not currently possible. Browsers only allow sharing sound together with a content source.

Today you can share sound when sharing a screen. A screen does not feel like a content source.

But, I assume, the sharing is totally managed by the browser. So, I should talk to Google. I am not sure they do care though :slight_smile:

You can do this by using virtual audio cables. Do a search for that.
