Setting anonymous guest allows meeting creation without login

Hi, If I set both these:
In this file - /etc/prosody/conf.avail/meet.domain.com.au.cfg.lua

VirtualHost “guest.meet.domain.com.au”
authentication = “anonymous”
c2s_require_encryption = false

And in this file - /etc/jitsi/meet/meet.domain.com.au-config.js

    // When using authentication, domain for guest users.
    anonymousdomain: 'guest.meet.domain.com.au',

The I can create a meeting with no auth prompt. If I remove them then I need to login to create… where am I going wrong? I want to login to create but to allow attendees to join with just a password.

you need more than that. You did not follow all the steps in the fine manual. Configure Jicofo. And while you are at it, configure a user with prosodyctl if you don’t use JWT.
