Set a password in a room before the meeting

configure password in a room before the meeting and send it by email for a meeting already with the password and the users can access it, as it does for example zoom, and where these passwords are stored

is possible?

Yes you can if you are a moderator.
Add a listener to do that.

โ€”> CREATE A ROOM WITH PASSWORD - MODERATOR NEEDED

        var api = new JitsiMeetExternalAPI(domain, options);

        api.addEventListener('participantRoleChanged', function (event) {
            if(event.role === 'moderator') {
               api.executeCommand('password', 'The Password');
            }
        });

โ€”> ENTER IN A ROOM WITH A PASSWORD BY API

        var api = new JitsiMeetExternalAPI(domain, options);

        api.addEventListener('passwordRequired', function (event) {
               api.executeCommand('password', 'The Password');
        });
