Refreshing Problem with FF

Hi. I’m working with a developer on a project in which we are using Jitsi. An issue has been observed related to refreshing the page when a user is using Firefox.

Me on Chrome, user on FF
User refreshes: Audio doesn’t work.
User closes tab and waits 10 seconds then rejoins: Same
User closes tab and waits 20 seconds then rejoins: Same
User closes tab and waits 30 seconds then rejoins: Success! User is back in and all is well. It was consistently a 30 sec. minimum wait time that was needed on FF.
I refresh: All is well.

I refresh: All is well.

Me on FF, user on FF
I refresh: Audio doesn’t work.
I close tab and wait 30 seconds: Audio doesn’t work.

My question: Where might we look for this Firefox specific issue given that it’s definitely occurs around 30 seconds and is consistently reproducible?

Did you test on meet.jit.si or on your own server?
If you didn’t test on meet.jit.si, could you try to reproduce the same issue on it

This came from testing on my own server. It wasn’t a problem on meet.jit.si.

One thing that might help: We’re bypassing the “waiting room” thing that comes with Jitsi out of the box. We bring them right into a conference. Maybe that’s something?

Shouldn’t matter, but it doesn’t hurt to enable the prejoin page I guess. Can you test that?
