Problem installing Jibri and JITSI in parallel

Hello I’m trying to install on the same JITSI and JIBRI server (record and share videos) but without success, I still have the error below:

When I execute the service jibri status command it returns me:

When I execute the service jibri-xorg status command it returns me:

When I execute the service jibri-icewm status command it returns me:

The customization of components and hosts for prosody was:

The configuration file for jibri.conf was:

Prosody, Nginx, Jibri, Video-bridge start well and seemingly without problems in the logs

Jicofo Version: 1.0-644-1
VideoBridge2 Version: 2.1-376-g9f12bfe2-1
Prosody Version: 0.11.6-1~xenial1
Jibri Version: 8.0-61-g99288dc-1
Nginx Version: 1.18.0-2~xenial

What does your Jibri log show? Can you share the log?

Please clarify: you’re installing BOTH Jibri and Jitsi on the SAME server, right? If so, what version of Java do you have installed on your system?

Java version:
openjdk version “1.8.0_275”
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (AdoptOpenJDK)(build 1.8.0_275-b01)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (AdoptOpenJDK)(build 25.275-b01, mixed mode)

I change file in /opt/jitsi/jibri/launch.sh and now i have the log in my browser:

Does your jitsi work with 3 participants?
IIUC your prosody doesn’t work correctly

I already reinstalled everything 10 times. Now it’s not really working, but I changed a lot of settings in the original file.

What is IIUC?

IIUC = if I understand correctly

Do you have any recommendations for me? I know that if I did a clean installation I could make everything work back, but I would lose the settings that I tried to enable for the jibri.

If you couldn’t get 3 participant calls to work, Jibri is probably a non-starter. Jibri uses the bridge, just like 3-participant calls. So you definitely want to fix that issue first. Uninstalling Jitsi does not uninstall Jibri; your Jibri modifications should be fine.
