Permanent Jitsi-meeting

I want to install a permanent Jitsi-meeting protected by a password (like a classroom). Is that possible?

On your self-hosted jitsi or on meet.jit.si?

I don’t know the difference - meet.jit.si probably… I’d like to have a link and password to a room which can be entered anytime by anyone who knows the URL and has the password. Is this possible?

You can use a complicated room name but not permanent password.
