Password needed

Hello. Can the password for a videoconference be assigned only shortly before the start of the conference? Is it not possible to give the password to the participants a few days before? Does the leader of the conference need to have started the session in order for the participants to enter the password? Otherwise none is required… Thank you for your answer.

Yes, the host can assign a password anytime before the conference, however, the password (just like the meeting) does not become valid until the host actually enters the room (starts the meeting with the chosen meeting name) and then enters the password in the meeting. If a participant uses the assigned meeting link before the host enters and specifies the password, then yes, they won’t require a password.

Thank you! Is it possible to block someone who has logged in without authorization and to exclude him from the video conference again? Thanks again in advance for the support
