Password [add] button does not work in the safari browser

After creating a meeting room and I click on security button for a password. Then I create password, but when I click on the add button, nothing happens.

Confirmed, I see an error in the console “TypeError: d.current.querySelector(“form”).requestSubmit is not a function. (In ‘d.current.querySelector(“form”).requestSubmit()’, ‘d.current.querySelector(“form”).requestSubmit’ is undefined)”.
Will take a look.

Hi!
I got this same error with Firefox.
I saw on this page https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/HTMLFormElement/requestSubmit that requestSubmit may not exist.
So we need to call submit, but replacing requestSubmit with submit I got a reload page.
I can see that the Add button/text/link is outside the form for the input text, so I added a submit button before the input text to do the submit event, it was ugly, but now I can get the expected:

sed -i ‘s/(this._onPasswordSubmit},)(a.a.createElement(“input”,{autoFocus:!0,className:"info-password-input)/\1a.a.createElement(“input”,{type:“submit”,value:“Add”}),\2/’ /usr/share/jitsi-meet/libs/app.bundle.min.js

This with .deb packs for Debian Buster 10.

Now I do that and solves this problem:

wget https://web-cdn.jitsi.net/meetjitsi_4487.1095/libs/app.bundle.min.js?v=4487.1095 -O /usr/share/jitsi-meet/libs/app.bundle.min.js

Thanks.
