Greetings and apologies if this is a stupid question.
Does Octo require to be installed on AWS and use Route53? I do not undertand how the geolocation part works. I am using two VPS servers (not AWS, no route 53). Server 1 in us-east with the full jitsi-meet setup. Server 2 in us-west with only a JVB instance and it appears they talk properly with no issues.
However clients do not connect to the closest server and it seems like I only randomly have a test conference where total servers = 2. So am I to understand that I am missing the Route 53 part?
I followed the docs about setting up JVB brewery and then the octo config. I have read about HAProxy but unsure if I really need to create a second front end with meet, jicofo, prosody and JVB?
Thanks and regards. Jitsi is a great product!
