NGINX shared memory zone error

Hi there,
I’m trying to get jitsi-meet installed on my server. After installation I run:
nginx -t
and get the following error:
The nginx plugin is not working; there may be problems with your existing configuration.
The error was: MisconfigurationError(‘Error while running nginx -c /etc/nginx/nginx.conf -t.\n\nnginx: [emerg] the size 10485760 of shared memory zone “SSL” conflicts with already declared size 20971520 in /etc/nginx/sites-enabled/video.******.us.conf:34\nnginx: configuration file /etc/nginx/nginx.conf test failed\n’)

I’ve tried finding both values in the conf files but was not able to find anything. A google search for this specific error also came back with zero results.
Anyone any advice on how to continue from here?

Thanks.

what is the output for?

grep -i ssl_session_cache /etc/nginx -R

/etc/nginx/sites-enabled/default: ssl_session_cache shared:SSL:20m;
/etc/nginx/sites-enabled/video..us.conf: ssl_session_cache shared:SSL:10m; # about 40000 sessions
/etc/nginx/sites-available/default: ssl_session_cache shared:SSL:20m;
/etc/nginx/sites-available/video.
.us.conf: ssl_session_cache shared:SSL:10m; # about 40000 sessions

Commenting out ssl_session_cache in the conf file for jitsi seems to have resolved the issue… :slight_smile:
