My correspondents can hear me but I cannot hear them

Hello,

I use Jitsi Desktop with a SIP service provided by OVH, as a softphone. I am satisfied but I have sometimes a bug: the connection is cut in one sense: After a while (most often a few minutes) I cannot hear my correspondent but my correspondent can hear me.

Is it a bug of OVH or of Jitsi? Is there a way of fixing it? Should I reinstall Jitsi desktop?

Have you checked the logs, anything there? Hard to guess this needs debugging, maybe doing a tcpdump and looking at the traffic around the moment it stops will be helpful.

Installing Wireshark https://www.wireshark.org/ and doing a packet capture and looking at the packets what happened at the time when you stop hearing, is media still flowing, were there any rtcp packets received, stuff like that. Or if you are able capturing that dump and uploading it with maybe someone can take a look at some point.
