MacBook Pro and jitsi didnt work

I called for an videoconference on a jitsi room today with a user using macbook pro and chrome.

Jitsi didnt even open.

Had to ask the user to the google meet and there everything worked fine.
So it was not a hardware problem.
Is it a common thing? Can it be solved?
