Looking for integration with back-end virtual platform

We are working on integrating jitsi with an existing text-based virtual platform and are struggling to manage the control link to jitsi so that room creation and access is controlled by the platform directly. The platform has a server side component with a web interface; we’d like to add jitsi to that web interface, but in a way that the platform is able to fully manage creation and access to different jitsi rooms. The current question on our dev’s plate: how is the session ID created and used?

We’ve been wrestling with this for a while and have some documentation on what we’ve tried so far, but it’s clear we are spending a lot of time and money on the learning curve. Ideally we could find someone who has done similar work and knows some of the approaches that might work and pitfalls to avoid.

FWIW, this is an open source project and all contributed code will be published with an open source license.

In short, we want to add Jitsi to an existing web-facing app with back-end presence management.

If you have experience with this kind of task, reach out to us and let’s start a conversation.
