Noted that recently, on 12 April 2020, Jitsi’s Team had come out with a new HIPS project to add a second layer of end-to-end encryption to media streams. And they’re currently working on the key management and exchange.
I would like to check, is it possible for Chrome Canary to use the keys from maybe a CryptoAPI or Cryptography API: Next Generation (CNG). Storing the keys at the server-side might isn’t ideal for my case. I think it will be safer if the keys were stored in a PKI Smart Card on the user’s end.
Do you think my idea is feasible?
