[JWT token] How to use token in external api

Hey!

I’m developing a videoconference between 2 only people -> Tecaher and student.
So, im using the external api and i’ve seen i can use a token or a pass to grant access to this only two people, an unique room for them.
I would like to know if there is any documentation about the token for external api to make this posible.
And i would like to know if there is any option to limit the room for 2 people.

Thanks!

You can set the jwt property on the options object when creating the external API object: https://github.com/jitsi/jitsi-meet/blob/master/doc/api.md#api

Thanks!
So, i supose i just have to write the token and thats all.
But what about if i want to exclude those people that want to enter but the haven’t token?
And how can i limit the room to 2 people?

You need to configure prosody to do that. When you confogure token auth, you can disable guest access. You can also limit the MUC size, but remember that jicofo will always need to enter the room, so I think you may need to account for it.

The thing is i don’t see the option to set a max participants… There is only for min participants:
// Defines the minimum number of participants to start a call (the default
// is set in Jicofo and set to 2).
// minParticipants: 2,

And i don’t really know what prosody is… :confused:

I add a token in a room and nothing happens… Any help?
