Jitsi very slow, requirement?

Hello !
Thank you for my previous post !

So, i install my Jitsi server on a VM Debian 10 16go RAM and 3 Core
But hen we are 2 -> it’s fine but when we are more than 2, Jitsi is slowing.

I don’t know if it’s because of the configuration ( cause i think the requirements are ok).

Have got some ideas ??

Thanks !
Moinnou

How did you install it ? What configuration changes did you make ?
I have your same configuration on LXC in Proxmox but 6GB of RAM without problems with multiple participants.

Might be a network problem. How do you access your VM? Via Internet? Is that VM locally installed at the computer of one of your participants or is it a VM rented from a web-hosting company?

I installed it with terminal command with a tutorial
Just add some RAM (16go) and the network is great (connected to a 10Go Switch).

So it’s a VM installed in a Cluster (WorkStation) at a Datacenter. It connected to a 10G switch with 400Mo…
And we access via Internet (i create a DNS for the VM)
So it might be a network problem like it doesn’t has enough bandwitch ?

This seems to be a configuration problem.

There is a new improved, a bit more detailed install guide now available, see https://jitsi.github.io/handbook/docs/devops-guide/devops-guide-quickstart

Please review that all firewall ports that need to be open are. Perhaps reinstall if you can’t remember what guide you followed before.
