[jitsi-users] Yahoo message delivery is still too unreliable

#1

I posted this before but was completely ignored, but it still seems to
be an issue so trying again. Would love to switch to Jitsi as my main IM
client but can't because of this issue.

Running Jitsi 2.6.5390 on Windows 81. Professional. Talking to contacts
on Yahoo messenger the message delivery is not reliable, with many
messages not getting delivered despite appearing to on the users end.
Switching back to Trillian or Pidgin and Yahoo messaging is reliable again.

AFAIK there's nobody on the team who actively uses Yahoo messaging, so we need volunteers who would look at this. As unwelcome as this might be as an answer, but our hands are already tied tightly with the protocols we actively use.

Hmm, well if this supported graphics I'd be putting in the "Okay" face
guy right now, but I appreciate Jitsi is open source and not always easy
to get skilled volunteers.

reminder:
related to that but on the server side: adding the intermediate
certificates to the cert chain would also improve reliability for
message deliveries...
