[jitsi-users] XMPP server

#1

Hello,

Since XMPP Jitsi is closing, could somebody recommend a good xmpp
service?
I mean good; secure, works 24/7, supports offline messaging, free etc...

If Jitsi Meet gets all the attention, does it mean Jitsi (the SIP
Communicator app) will be dropped too?

https://list.jabber.at/
https://www.jabberes.org/servers/

personally using jabbim.com and jabber.ccc.de since years, very
satisfied (though jabber.ccc.de has more downtimes)

about Jitsi client:
since Atlassian overtook jitsi-meet etc the development of Jitsi client
remains and relies almost completely on contributions from the community
(Ingo, Danny and e.g. you).
No contributions means no development and Jitsi client will drop
"itself" after some time (without need of particular announcement).

so please find interested Java developers who contribute & maintain one
of the most advanced VoIP client respecting your privacy (OTR for
chatting, ZRTP for Audio/Video)!!!

If Jitsi Meet gets all the attention, does it mean Jitsi (the SIP
Communicator app) will be dropped too?
