[jitsi-users] Which jitsi package is sufficient for just SIPping?

#1

Hi jitsi users,

I'd like to use jitsi as a SIP client only (video is not a
MUST, if it can be disabled, ok).
Which of the packages/software related to jitsi: jitsi-meet,
jitsi-meet-prosody, jitsi-videobridge, jicofo, jigasi, etc., are
strictly required for that?
Jitsi-meet and jigasi, or what else? (I'm on Debian stable here.)

(I am not subscribed to the list, so please CC me in case of replying.)

TIA

Stephan

If you only want to place SIP calls on your desktop, you'll just want Jitsi (without any suffix). E.g. https://download.jitsi.org/unstable/jitsi_2.9.5532-1_amd64.deb
