[jitsi-users] webRTC signalling

#1

Hello,

First post here. I'm rewriting an existing application that uses CafeX for
webRTC to now use jitsi. The application back-end is written in Python
and the front-end is written in javascript. Currently the signaling is done
from the front-end via websockets to the python server and then the call
is established like normal webRTC. I'm trying to find an example of a
signaling server for jitsi but I'm not sure if it works the same way. Maybe
one of the jitsi components is handling that already and is not meant to
be implemented in an application? Is that correct?

Yes, jicofo[0] acts as the signaling server for jitsi-meet.
