[jitsi-users] videobrige error

#1

hi

running ubuntu 16.04 and jitsi-meet 1.0.1073-1 / jitsi-meet-prosody 1.0.1073-1 / jitsi-videobridge 751-1

installed based on https://github.com/jitsi/jitsi-meet/blob/master/doc/quick-install.md

copied the ssl certs by hand.

everything runs fine, no errors all smooth. but after one day i get the message similar to “videobridge not avalible”… since i dont know jitsi i dont know where to start to look. the service jitsi-videobridge it up and running. did a service restart, no changes.

funny thing is if i throw away the vm and just generate everything from scratch it works again. but again the next day doenst work anymore.

one thing that i want to mention is that prosodory is bound to 127.0.0.1:5347 while everthing else connects to 0.0.0.0 (so basicaly every device)

when looking in the logs i see several entrys like “JVB connection refused host:localhost port:5347” …

if anybody could give me a hint where or for what to look?

thanks a lot

Specific error messages will help. I would start looking at the logs from jicofo and jitsi-videobridge (/var/log/jicofo.log and jvb.log).
