[jitsi-users] Very bad behavior while refusing incoming add request

#1

Hello

I had several incoming add requests on yahoo and on icq. People I don't know, and that I don't want to add to my contacts.
So I refused the add requests.

BUT the askers are all now in my contact list, in tha actual group I didn't choose, what I do not like at all. No control at all, they see me now online or what? When I delete them, I will stay in their list? Grrr, very bad behavior of jitsi...

Another moint, I have some spam messages on icq, from russia or so. There is no possibilit in jitsi to block a user that it will unable that spam from that particular user?

What is the name of the group? Normally when there is a request or
message from unknown contact, it is placed in a group named "Not in
contact list", the name shows that this contact is not in your list
ant it is there temporary and when you restart the contact won't be
there anymore.

Another moint, I have some spam messages on icq, from russia or so. There is

No, this is not available for any of the protocols. This is not
currently on our roadmap, so any patches are more than welcome.

Regards
Damian

Unfortunatly it's in my current group which was opened while refusing the request, and it's still there after restart of computer and jitsi.

Hi again,

so it seems you stumbled on a bug, I've tested the icq stuff and it
seems ok, but the yahoo has the problem you describe, it will be fixed
in next nightly build 3907.

Thanks for your report!
