[jitsi-users] Using meet.jit.si for voice only conferences

Hello Everyone,

I love Jitsi Meet and have been using it quite a bit. But I'm wondering
about it always turning on the camera when I enter a room. I know I can
go into Chrome's settings and block camera access to meet.jit.si but I'm
wondering if there are other ways, more standard and correct ways, to
make sure the camera is never turned on automatically when I enter a room.

Can anyone help?

Thanks,
Anthony

Hi Anthony,

The moderator of a conference (typically the first person in a call) can configure this in the settings dialog.

I hope this helps.

Regards,
George
