[jitsi-users] Users added with e-mail notifications

#1

I've noticed that when I get notified I have a new mail in Hotmail, it
adds an entry for each e-mail in the NotInContactList, all titled
Hotmail (although hovering shows the sender's address). This is rather
annoying so I wonder if Jitsi can be patched to stop this happening
(without disabling e-mail notification completely, which I find quite
useful).

There's currently no option to configure this. The source can certainly
be patched to allow configuration but given how Microsoft is to close
the service in a couple of months or so, it's probably not worth the effort.

Yeah good point about MSN closing soon. Forget that then. I just
tested with my gmail account and it doesn't seem to have this issue
with that. I don't know about Yahoo as the e-mail notifications don't
work at all for me, even though they apparently should.
