[jitsi-users] User is writing a message

#1

Hey, is there a way to disable those annoying popup messages that say
"%NAME% is writing a message..."? They normally appear at the bottom
right of the screen whenever some contact starts to type in a message
in the XMPP chat window. I would like to continue seeing the actual
typed messages in the popups, but these typing popup notifications are
rather irritating.

I noticed and felt the same too.
Also, under Linux those pop-ups appear half below the bottom of the
screen and their window widget cannot be moved.
Thus the text in the popups is clipped 1/2 way.
