[jitsi-users] Understanding Jitsi for Android

Hi,

I installed Jitsi for Android and logged in to my XMPP account. The app
says Available, and I am dropped to a screen where I can "enter a name
or number" and a green receiver at the bottom.

Maybe I get something wrong or do not understand the app, but I failed
to find my roster (contact list) or anything chat related.

Is Jitsi for Android only intended to be used with SIP and basic
Audio/Video over XMPP, and does it lack the chat part? Or am I doing
something wrong?

Jitsi for Android in general, its user interface in particular is
still under development. It should be run by developers only at this
time. Once the development is complete, Jitsi for Android will have
the user interface that you're asking after.

Sounds like Lumicall....

I hacked in RTP/SAVPF today so people can call from DruCall WebRTC to
Lumicall.

This was one of the most interesting discoveries in the SDP parser:
