[jitsi-users] Unable to make outgoing calls "Call Failed"

#1

Hello,

Please help. We are using SIP ID and whenever we put UDP as our preferred
transport under proxy configuration, we are unable to connect even if we
the correct credentials. Also, if we leave the proxy automatically we can
only receive incoming calls but cannot dial out. Upon calling a number, we
received an error message that says "Call Failed".

We've done the ff troubleshooting steps:

Reinstalling Jitsi
Used different versions (2.10 latest and 2.8)

Looking forward to any response.

Thanks,

Anne

Hello,

Yes. We've checked that link, but we cannot find anything that is related
to the error we are getting, When we try to dial out a number, it says
"Call Failed Forbidden".

We are using SIP ID and whenever we put UDP as our preferred transport
under proxy configuration, we are unable to connect even if we have the
correct credentials. Also, if we leave the proxy automatically we can only
receive incoming calls but cannot dial out.

Hope you can help.

Thanks,

Anne

When you say you cannot dialout when you leave proxy to auto, is it again
forbidden?
