[jitsi-users] Trying jitsi-meet on debian9 - every few seconds lost connection

#1

Hi,

I install jitis-meet for an test. It's on an fresh debian9 installation.

Installation work well, but every ~10 seconds I lost the connection to the
Webfrontend:

I test it on an virtualbox VM and an proxmox vm.

any hints for me?

Bye

Gregor

Hi,

There are few logs you need to check, in order to be able to identify the
problem. The first is the browser js console logs and then the jicofo logs
(/var/log/jitsi).

i had similar problems. did the install as on github (debian). but the certs where owend by "root". with me a simple

chown prosody:prosody -R /var/lib/prosody/
and then
service prosody restart

did the trick.

just check if the certs in /var/lib/prosody are owned by root, maybe worth a try.
