[jitsi-users] Streaming to Youtube

#1

Greetings All

I see a lot topic on streaming to YouTube topic but sure if anyone gotten
it to work. Can anyone shed some light to it?

Default install does not have it enable so the button is not on auto hide
tool bar?

What configuration file to I would go to enable that feature/button and how
the confuguration for it.

The link below is more toward to the youtube side, what about the Jist-Meet
side?

Hi,

You need a separate deployment, which is not currently automated:

Thanks Damian for the quick reply. I am running Ubuntu 14.x.x and don't
the see exact name of the packages below.

···

-

Install all required software (TODO: check for missing software, include
   instructions)
   - alsa + snd_aloop
      - pulse
      - Xorg, video-dummy
      - icewm
      - chrome/chromium
      - chromedriver
      - python (pip): selenium
      - ffmpeg (preferably the real thing, not libav)
      - mplayer, imagemagick

I see Xorg, icewm, Xorg, mplayer, imagemagick. I don't see the rest of the
other ones, just several choice but don't what package to select. For
example: alsa, I see the below:
sudo apt-get install alsa
alsa-base alsaplayer-alsa alsaplayer-gtk
alsaplayer-text alsa-tools-gui
alsa-firmware-loaders alsaplayer-common alsaplayer-jack
alsaplayer-xosd alsa-utils
alsamixergui alsaplayer-daemon alsaplayer-nas
alsa-source
alsa-oss alsaplayer-esd alsaplayer-oss
alsa-tools

Did anyone got this to work in Ubunbu?

I think for the alsa part we needed to recompile the kernel. But I
think this was not needed for ubuntu 16.04, I need to check, cause I'm
not sure about this statement.
