There is a well known HTTP_PROXY environment variable that impacts a lot
of HTTP client software
Would it be worthwhile defining similar variables for STUN_SERVER and
TURN_SERVER? Would it be much trouble for Jitsi to parse these when
making a call and if no other values have been statically configured?
I'd suggest they accept just a hostname or a full URI following the
conventions in the draft
For the TURN_SERVER, it could try the XMPP/SIP credentials, and if they don't work, it could prompt the user.
I've made a similar suggestion on the telepathy mailing list.
