[jitsi-users] Stale contacts list/roster status

#1

Hello,
I'm using Jitsi v2.8.5426 (it should be the latest stable) on GNU/Linux X64,
with KDE 4.11.5 as DE + Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.77-b03,
mixed mode).

I see this behaviour: Jitsi is running minimized in the task-bar: when I
double-click on the icon (or click right button -> Show) to show the main
view I see a stale status of my contact list/roster: contacts could have gone
off-line or changed status since the last time I've interacted with the Jitsi
UI, but those changes do not reflect automatically on the Jitsi UI: to
refresh the view I need to pass the mouse pointer over the roster, which
seems to trigger the "update event" showing then the fresh contacts list.

Does anybody else could confirm the behaviour before filing a bug?

Thanks.

I have that from time to time as well, but have been unable to track it down. You may file a bug, but I doubt anybody will look into this in the foreseeable future.

Thanks.
