[jitsi-users] SIP-To Header Support?

#1

Hi Everyone,

I'm using Jitsi with a SIP account (Callcentric) that has two DIDs linked to it. When someone calls, I have no way to know which DID they called. I spoke with Callcentric and they said they transmit the called DID in the SIP-To header (which Jitsi doesn't support).

Does Jitsi have any plans to support this header in the future or is it something I'd need to implement myself if I want it?

Thanks,
Anthony

Personally this is the first time I hear about a "SIP-To" header.
Could it be that the destination is in the SIP "To" header?

We don't currently show the value of the "To" header in the GUI but
this could indeed make sense at some point.

You're right, it is the "To" header. The Callcentric rep had written it
out as SIP-To so I assumed that was the proper header name.

Good to hear that there's a maybe there. Thanks for the response!

Hi Anthony,

The work around would be the check your callcentric profile to see what did
is being called.

It will be nice and nifty when the to header is exposed in jitsi.

Very true, but there is no way for me to know that in real time (which
is what I need). I use each DID for a different thing and, depending on
which is being called, I would answer the call differently.

Yes it will be! It will be amazingly useful.
