Hi Ingo,

thank you. That is working. I disabled the 'Messaging' and the
'Desktop Sharing' capabilities successfully. This only leaves me with
video, which cannot be disabled. Maybe it would be good to disable the
button if there are no video codecs enabled or something like this or
implement another switch to disable it completely.

I am new to Jitsi.
One month ago I installed successfully jitsi with the Quick Install
procedure.
Today, the same procedure does not complete successfully and I get stuck
with installation request for a database for nginx-naxsi-ui

Do I miss something ? Any help please ?
Thanks a lot

Hi,

I set up a program to get executed on 'incoming call', which should
pause itunes. The program works if I call it from the command line. It
is executable and I call it by full qualified path. The program
consists of:

    #!/bin/sh
    /usr/bin/osascript -e 'tell application "iTunes"' -e "pause" -e "end
tell"

Yet it does not get called on an incoming call.

The configuration setting looks correct, doesn't it? Is is configured
via GUI not config files

    $ grep itunes Library/Application\
Support/Jitsi/sip-communicator.properties

net.java.sip.communicator.impl.notifications.eventType1435306782686.actions.actionType1439475467406.commandDescriptor=/Users/andreas/bin/itunes_pause

I haven't tried on another platform. Any ideas?

Best,
Andreas

Hi Chris,

I tested it and the stable version works fine on my 10.10.5 - as is
was on 10.10.4 two days ago.

Best,
Andreas

Hi,

I set up a program to get executed on 'incoming call', which should
pause itunes. The program works if I call it from the command line. It
is executable and I call it by full qualified path. The program
consists of:

    #!/bin/sh
    /usr/bin/osascript -e 'tell application "iTunes"' -e "pause" -e "end
tell"

Yet it does not get called on an incoming call.

The configuration setting looks correct, doesn't it? Is is configured
via GUI not config files

    $ grep itunes Library/Application\
Support/Jitsi/sip-communicator.properties

net.java.sip.communicator.impl.notifications.eventType1435306782686.actions.actionType1439475467406.commandDescriptor=/Users/andreas/bin/itunes_pause

I haven't tried on another platform. Any ideas?

Best,
Andreas

Hi Ingo,

Hi Ingo,

    #!/bin/sh
    /usr/bin/osascript -e 'tell application "iTunes"' -e "pause" -e
"end tell"

Yet it does not get called on an incoming call.

The configuration setting looks correct, doesn't it? Is is configured
via GUI not config files

    $ grep itunes Library/Application\
Support/Jitsi/sip-communicator.properties

net.java.sip.communicator.impl.notifications.eventType1435306782686.actions.actionType1439475467406.commandDescriptor=/Users/andreas/bin/itunes_pause

I haven't tried on another platform. Any ideas?

Best,
Andreas

Hi Chris,

I tested it and the stable version works fine on my 10.10.5 - as is
was on 10.10.4 two days ago.

Best,
Andreas

Hi,

OS version? Steps to reproduce? Any custom repositories that you can
have in sources list?
