[jitsi-users] Security graded list of XMPP servers

I just came across this list of XMPP servers, which rates their
security and was disappointed to note that jabberd.eu, which I've been
using, scores F on both counts.

jabber.ccc.de doesn't seem to be on the list but I've had problems
with logging into that with two different accounts I tried creating,
so haven't used that. Jit.si doesn't appear either.

Anyway, thought others might find it useful when choosing a server.
Maybe it would be good to have a link to it on the Jisti Homepage and
try and make sure only those rated AA are included in the "Create new
account" list in Jitsi?

jit.si's results can be found here:
https://xmpp.net/result.php?domain=jit.si&type=client

Regards,
Matthew

first registration to jabber.ccc.de does not work via Jitsi client (at
least in my case, always failed), I had to register using Adium or Psi+
(both on Mac) or Pidgin (Win, Linux).
after successful registration using another client than Jitsi, ongoing
usage with Jitsi works without problems, even with port 80 (!) - useful
behind firewalls.
server: jabberd.jabber.ccc.de
port: 80

Thanks. I failed to post the link to the list in my previous post,
which wasn't very useful of me, sorry. https://xmpp.net/directory.php

I can't see jit.si in that list.

Indeed. It seems to register partly as it now says my chosen username
is taken but it won't accept the password I registered with. I had the
same problem with blah.im and boese-ban.de before getting to
ch3kr.net, which worked fine.

In my experience it doesn't work too well for voice/video chat, at
least not if you need ice.
