[jitsi-users] Screen share external HDMI

#1

Hi all,

Question which I'm hoping would work. I have a Jitsi Meet computer with webcam in a conference room (running Chrome on Ubuntu). I would like for the screen share function to include an external HDMI source - such as a user sat at the conference table, wanting to share the screen of their laptop

Would this work with a USB3 HDMI capture card or is it something that's not possible?

Pointers would be useful

Thanks, Tom

Yes, that will work. We have used these successfully: http://www.magewell.com/usb-capture-hdmi
