[jitsi-users] RTC error in meet.jitsi.org

Hi,

we tried to run a meeting using meet.jitsi.org today and ran into the
following error:

Strophe: error: Failed to construct 'RTCSessionDescription': Illegal

Using Chromium 40 and Chrome 36 on Debian GNU/Linux sid 64-bit.

Any hints on why this is happening? The service used to work flawlessly
for us jsut recently on the same system.

Hey George. We'll look into that but meet.jitsi.org is just a test
deployment and we generally focus on maintaining meet.jit.si

Do you also get the problem there?

meet.jit.si isn't affected by this as simulcast is disabled there. I'll
soon push an overhauled implementation of simulcast for meet that will make
the problem go away for meet.jitsi.org as well.
