[jitsi-users] Question regarding Jigasi

#1

Hello Jitsi Community,

As Jigasi provides a SIP gateway for videobridge, I was wondering
technically if we can have all participants on SIP. Lets say some are PSTN,
some webrtc2sip clients sharing audio/video.

How would videobridge manage those endpoints, would it send multiple video
streams back to each SIP end point?

Just trying to understand the use case or work-around of keeping the
current system on SIP and leveraging Jitsi Video Bridge.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Salman,

Currently jigasi does not support video. For audio, it mixes the multiple streams into one and thus it sends a single audio stream back to each SIP endpoint.

I hope this helps.

George
