Hello All,
can you help me on how to use jitsi to make call to any mobile number ?!

Jitsi works either with your Google account for PC-to-PC calls, or with any
SIP telephony provider
(SIP is an open standard, there are many SIP based telephony providers both
in the USA and around the world, that you can choose to get your own number
and make calls to either land lines or cell phones).

I have an SIP account but I'm not able to initiate any call ...

But can you call any regular phone? (land line) ? What about any special
services one normally expect from a phone line, for instance, to get the
time?. Does your SIP provider feature such number?. Mine does, but I´m
based in Argentina not the USA. You didn´t even tell us what country you´re
at. As this is an international mailing list, these little details are
important so we can advice you better.

The definitive test would be to use whatever soft phone your SIP provider
offers, configured for your SIP account, and see if that works. If that
works and Jitsi does not, then the problem is Jitsi. If on the contrary the
SIP account with the telephony provider´s software then there´s a problem
with your SIP account or you have misconfigured something.

Is there any other way you could test your SIP account? What SIP VOIP
provider are we talking about?. Can you contact its support?. Most SIP VOIP
providers have a tech support email address or phone number. Tell them you
want to configure your SIP account for a soft phone, and that you need to
know the SIP server, username, and password...

Is there any special instructions for dialing ?
