[jitsi-users] Question about SRTP

#1

Hi all,
reading the docs and the sources, i've found this setting:

org.jitsi.impl.neomedia.transform.srtp.SRTPCryptoContext.checkReplay=false

What is ti for?
Does it disable SRTP communication?

This doubt came out with a customer using DPI on their FW

Thanks

This setting can disable a security check. See https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc3711#section-3.3.2 for an explanation.

SRTP is still in use and traffic is encrypted, even with that setting enabled.
