[jitsi-users] Question about Jigasi and SIP Registration

#1

Hello List.
We're trying to Register JIGASI in my SIP SERVER, this SIP SERVER use Digest Authentication and i'm having the next problem.
The credentials to REGISTER in the server are a Username, a Authorization Name and a password
Username : 5551234567
Auth Name : ID_1234567
Pass : mypassword
Realm : myrealm.proxysip.com

When i configure JIGASI with these parameters :

net.java.sip.communicator.impl.protocol.sip.acc1403273890647=acc1403273890647
net.java.sip.communicator.impl.protocol.sip.acc1403273890647.ACCOUNT_UID=SIP\:5551234567@myrealm.proxysip.com
net.java.sip.communicator.impl.protocol.sip.acc1403273890647.PASSWORD=mypassword
net.java.sip.communicator.impl.protocol.sip.acc1403273890647.PROTOCOL_NAME=SIP
net.java.sip.communicator.impl.protocol.sip.acc1403273890647.SERVER_ADDRESS=myrealm.proxysip.com
net.java.sip.communicator.impl.protocol.sip.acc1403273890647.USER_ID=ID_1234567@myreal.proxysip.com

The Challenge fails, bacause JIGASI sends the DIgest Username of the Authorization header with the Username, not the Authorization: Digest username="5551234567",realm="myrealm.proxysip.com",nonce="VKq1h1SqtFsY58EJWX9uPCkTFLAdg1S1",uri="sip:myrealm.proxysip.com",response="6fbf02557d312d1754422968c2ad9797",qop=auth,cnonce="xyz",nc=00000001.

How can i make JIGASI to use correctly the Authentication Username?

Thanks in advance,
Regards,
Ricardo Martinez.-

Hi,

you can use the account property AUTHORIZATION_NAME to specify the
authorization name. The easiest way is to install Jitsi, configure it
so the sip account connects successfully and then look at the
configuration file which properties to use and their values.
