[jitsi-users] problems doing video conferencing via jit.si

#1

Hi all,

This morning I tried to do a video conference using jit.si's video bridge.
Everyone was using the 2.2 client, two of us were on Linux machines with
jit.si accounts, the other was on a Mac using their gtalk account.

After making the call, we were all able to connect and do group voice
chats. The Mac was having some pretty bad echo problems, while the two
Linux clients had none of that. When we tried to toggle the video, the
interface changed to the "show video" window but only one of the videos (of
the three users on the chat) would ever appear. It also wasn't consistent
whose video would appear.

Has anyone else seen this sort of thing? Any ideas what we could try or do
differently?

thanks,

Steve

You could try the nightly builds, as they contain multiple fixes. If
they also fail, sending us your logs[1] (at least from the client which
started the conference) will help us figure out what goes wrong.
