[jitsi-users] Problems connecting to voipcheap.com

#1

Hello,

I am trying JItsi 2.8, and I am unable to connect to voipcheap.com.
I have used other SIP programs in the past (such as linphone and
qutephone), and they work perfectly (although they are all ugly!).

According to Jitsi, I am "logged in".
However, I am unable to make any calls...

Has anyone else tried using JItsi with voipcheap.com?

Connection instructions from voipcheap:
www.voipcheap.com/sip

Thanks in advance for your reply,
Leandro

Damian,

Thanks a lot for your message. However, it still does not work.

If I activate either TCP or TLS, I simply cannot log in (I don't know
why). If I use UDP, (by design) the waiting time can go until
forever...

I also tried only activating PCMU and G.722 as codecs, but it does no
make any difference.

I'm still stuck in the “Initiating Call” status...

Any other ideas? Anyone else using voipcheap.com?

Leandro
